ZPower Ranked #82 on Inc. Magazine’s 2018 Top 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies List

ZPower, the world’s only developer of rechargeable, silver-zinc microbatteries, is proud to announce that it is ranked #82 on this year’s Inc. Magazine prestigious top 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies. The list, which the magazine has compiled since 1982, has previously included business luminaries such as, Microsoft, Dell and LinkedIn.

ZPower batteries are the smallest, high-energy rechargeable batteries on the market today. ZPower’s first commercial application is the award-winning rechargeable system for hearing aids, and now nearly every major hearing aid manufacturer offers select products with ZPower rechargeable microbatteries. Also, beginning this year, ZPower expanded into the wireless earbud market with the launch of a miniature hearable product by a top U.S. consumer electronics company.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized among the innovative businesses that make up the Inc. 5000,” says ZPower President and CEO, Ross Dueber. “It’s an honor to be recognized for the great strides that ZPower has made over the past several years which led to 2017 being our most successful year in history. We see this success as just the beginning. We plan to capitalize on this momentum to establish our batteries as a preferred power source for the growing number of electronic devices that require smaller, safer, and more energy dense solutions.”

“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “The lines of business may come and go, or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”

Not only have the companies on the 2018 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists.
